Located in the heart of the city, Pichola Lake is one of the most beautiful lake of Rajasthan. Built in the year 1362, by Pichhu Banjara during the ruling period of Maharana Lakha, It is one of the oldest & largest lakes of Udaipur.
Lies just behind the Moti magri Hills located in the north of Pichola Lake, it is the secomd artificial lake of Udaipur. It was built maharana Fateh Singh in the year 1678.
Jaisamand Lake is popular for being the second largest artificial lake in Asia. This lake is also known as Dhebar & is located at a distance of 48 kms from the city of Udaipur. While making a dam on Gomoti river Maharana Jai Singh built this lake.
In 1660, Rajsamand Lake was built by Maharana Raj. Located 66kms in the north of Udaipur, Rajsamand Lake lies between Rajnagar and Kankroli. The lake is also known by the name of Rajsamudra Lake in Rajasthan.
it was constructed by Maharana Uday in the year 1559 & was completed in the year 1565. From east of Udaipur it’s about 13 kilometers.
